Who we are

PREPT is an iOS app operated from the United Kingdom. Contact: support@preptapp.co.uk.

What we collect

• Early-access waitlist: the email address you submit, verification and delivery status, when you joined and verified, and your eligibility for the launch discount and Early Access badge. We use this to verify your place, send PREPT launch information and provide the benefit you requested. We do not add waitlist members to unrelated marketing.
• Abuse prevention: privacy-preserving hashes used to limit repeated signup and verification attempts. We do not store your raw IP address in the waitlist.
• Account: your email address and an account identifier, used to sign you in and sync data between devices.
• Your preferences: dietary needs, disliked and favourite ingredients, cooking ability, weekly budget, meal-prep goal and how many portions you cook.
• Retailer membership preferences: whether you have supermarket loyalty memberships such as Clubcard or Nectar, used only to estimate member pricing. We do not collect card numbers, barcodes, passwords or supermarket login details.
• Your usage of the app: meal plans generated, recipes planned, shopping list items, pantry contents, meals marked as cooked and weekly summaries.
• Community meals you create: recipe names, ingredients, method steps, descriptions, optional creator display name, review status, reports and moderation notes. Approved community meals may be visible to other PREPT users.
• Your shopping location: a postcode or address you enter, or your device location if you grant permission, including precise location if you choose to share it. PREPT stores these coordinates and the postcode against your account so your plan and shop comparison work on any signed-in device. It is used only to rank nearby supermarkets and estimate travel time. PREPT does not track your movements or build a location history.
• Photos you choose: PREPT never reads your photo library. You pick individual photos in Apple’s own picker. A share-card background stays on your device. A photo attached to a Community post is uploaded to PREPT storage and is publicly readable alongside that post.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use it for advertising or ad targeting.
• We do not collect payment card details. Purchases are handled by Apple.
• We do not collect supermarket loyalty card numbers or supermarket account passwords.

Processors we use

• Supabase hosts the database, authentication, waitlist and Community photo storage.
• Resend sends verification, account and PREPT launch emails.
• Apple handles purchases and provides Sign in with Apple.

Early access

Only a verified waitlist email receives launch-discount and Early Access eligibility. If you later create a PREPT account using that same verified email, PREPT may securely link the eligibility to your account. The browser cannot award or transfer these benefits.

Community moderation

Community meals may be checked by PREPT's server-side review tools and by human review before or after publication. Users can report meals or hide creators. Reports are used to investigate safety, originality, spam and abusive content.

Keeping it

We keep a pending waitlist record only as long as needed for verification and abuse prevention. We keep a verified waitlist record until launch communications and its associated benefit are complete, or until you ask us to remove it. We keep account data while your account exists. Deleting your PREPT account removes private account data owned by it; an approved public Community meal may remain with the account link removed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and may object to processing. Email support@preptapp.co.uk. You can ask to leave the waitlist at any time.

Children

PREPT is not directed at children under 13.
